Spa{ahhh} Sundaze {11/6}
Hello and welcome to the very first Spa{ahhh} Sundaze! I am so excited you are here! This party has three purposes. 1. Enable me to give back to the blogging community {this is also the only skill I have that can be shared through a computer}, 2. opportunity for everyone to gather ideas to take care of ourselves, 3. serve as a weekly reminder to take a minute for yourself {it’s ok, really}.
I have so many things I can’t wait to share with you, I have actually found where to begin to be a bit daunting. {Wanna know why I know so much on this? Click here.} So, I have decided to let you pick. Answer the poll, and that will be the topic I will begin to delve into with you next week.
What spa topic is more of a priority to you?
- Developing Healthier Eating Habits (60%, 3 Votes)
- Calming Your Mind From Racing Thoughts (40%, 2 Votes)
- Addressing Upper Back & Neck Pain (0%, 0 Votes)
- Addressing Lower Back Pain (0%, 0 Votes)
- Opening Pandora's Box of Emotional Eating (0%, 0 Votes)
Total Voters: 5
-
November 13th: topic determined by poll results.
- November 20th: twisting Yoga postures.
- November 27th: twisting Yoga postures.
-
Due to Thanksgiving being on the 24th, the Sunday before and after will focus on twisting postures since it’s an excellent way to promote good digestion and release toxins from the body.
Deets:
-
Open: Every Sunday @ 12:01 A.M.
-
Close: The following Friday @ 11:59 P.M.
-
Theme: Spa
What do I mean by a ‘Spa’ theme? Good question! I’m glad you asked. Here is what I am interpreting ‘Spa’ to mean regarding this linky party. Anything that either helps your body feel better, relaxes you, and is good for you. This is open for your interpretation. The link can be to anything that will target your mind, body, or spirit.
Types of projects I had in mind include {but are definitely NOT limited to} healthy recipes, product review of something that has helped you, tips, projects {like candles, aromatherapy, bath salts}, review of a book that lifted your spirit or warmed you heart, blanket to snuggle into, warm teas or coffee recipes… You get the picture, right?
The following Sunday a link from the party will be featured. This will be determined by which project gets the most clicks. This is the plan anyways – since this is the first party, that may be adjusted {depending on how many participants, etc.}. The link will get featured here, on facebook, and pinned to Pinterest.

Please link back – simple text is just fine.
That’s it. It would be awesome if you would stop by and visit some of the other links, but not mandated. You may link up as many projects as you like, provided they fit the theme. It can be a new post, or an older one. I’m not picky. But, don’t link the same post up again so the content can remain fresh.
I so appreciate you all coming here and linking up! Now, get on and do what ya came here for! -Carrie
Just a friendly reminder, that the Progressive Thanksgiving Dinner Blog Hop I’m participating in is being held at Frugal Luxuries today. Day 1 @ Home Sweet Homemade, Day 2 @ Be Colorful, Day 3 @ White Spray Paint, and Day 5 will be here @ Project Possessed tomorrow!

Thank you for the invite Carrie! What a neat concept for a link-up! Today I have shared my posts on a herbal healing clay and a recipe for homemade eye makeup remover. I hope you are having a great weekend:) Btw…I’m your newest follower:)
Thank you so much for sharing those here! I really appreciate it, and thanks for becoming a follower!
very exciting! My idea to link up to the party today was preempted by life — a skunk squirted one of the dogs last night and deodorizing the dog and house jumped to the top of the priority list today. However, if I had only had the time, I would have created a post about a quickie aromatherapy – I just boiled an orange peel along with a few cloves to help neutralize the air inside the house. Thankfully it really did help. Hope you’ve had a wonderful weekend Carrie and I look forward to next week’s party too! xo, diane
LOL! Wow! Sounds like you all had a night! Thanks for peeking in to check on it! I really do appreciate you thinking of me! (Especially with your dogs ‘little’ incident!) Your aromatherapy sounds great! You did try washing the dog in tomato juice, right? Good luck, and I’m thinking of you guys!
Hi Carrie, thanks for dropping by my blog. I am often posting DIY beauty treatments so I hope you continue to check it out. I just joined via GFC and added my link to the Spa (aah) hop. xo
Thanks for joining the party! And, I will most definately continue to check it out! Thanks for becoming a follower – much appreciated!
Thanks for telling me about your great link up! I’m sharing my lavender soap. Let me know if you make it and have a great week!
Thanks for joining the party! I can’t wait to make that soap!
Ok, I am a horrible bloggy friend
Life became rather hectic around here and I haven’t had a chance to do any blogging lately. But I promise I didn’t forget about your wonderful party!
